We are passionate lovers of Nigeria and its rich resources. We are visual storytellers and we illuminate untold stories, spotlighting the people behind them. We celebrate our heritage and the people who shape it. Our journey began with fashion designer Oroma, and artist, Osione's curiosity about making locally, which led them to discover Funtua Cotton in 2016. Following a hyperlocal approach, the fabric is grown and woven in Katsina and hand-dyed at the centuries-old Kofar Mata Dye pits in Kano in the north of Nigeria. This fabric forms the basis of the clothing and home apparel the brand is well known for.
